ACUFAST HIRES MONTY THOMSON AS ACCOUNT MANAGER

AcuFast is pleased to announce that Monty Thomson has been appointed as the new Account Manager for Manitoba. In his role, Monty will be responsible for managing and nurturing customer relationships, providing technical assistance, and driving sales in the region. He will report directly to Sarah Heppner, Senior Manager of Eastern Canadian Sales & Marketing

Monty brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his position, having dedicated his entire career to the field of swine genetics and nutrition. Since his move to Manitoba in 2004, Monty has been actively involved in the industry throughout the region.

Monty's roots in agriculture run deep, having grown up near the Hatfield village in Nokomis, Saskatchewan. Today, he continues his agricultural pursuits through his farm, Hatfield Clydesdales and Shorthorns, located in Gladstone, MB. Alongside raising shorthorn cattle and Clydesdales, Monty remains involved in livestock showing.

One of Monty's strengths lies in his passion for the people aspect of his roles. He enjoys working closely with hog producers, assisting them in optimizing barn efficiency, not only through genetic programs but also by providing technical support where needed. Monty's hands-on approach and willingness to step into the barns alongside customers showcase his commitment to delivering exceptional service.
